Classic Board & Card Games
Play the classics. See your mistakes. Get better.
Six timeless games against strong computer opponents — and a full review after every game. Play a quick round, or start a career: climb leagues and tournaments, watch your rating grow, and find out exactly where your games are won and lost.

Every game, reviewed by a real engine
When the game ends, the engine goes through every decision you made. You see your accuracy, your costliest moves, what you did, what was better — and in plain words, why.
Blunders and mistakes, marked
Each costly decision is flagged and priced: “cost 19.1 points”, “mistake”, “inaccuracy” — so you know which ones really mattered.
The better play, explained
“Throwing the 4 of Diamonds left 64 deadwood instead of 60.” Red shows the card you threw, green the better one.
Replay it, move by move
Jump from any mistake straight into the replay and see the position as it was — hand by hand, card by card.
Backgammon
Performance Rating (PR) after every match, your biggest errors with the better moves. Import your own matches (XG / GNU .mat exports) and have them analysed too.
Handicap Chess
Moves judged by the drop in winning chances, not raw centipawns. Accuracy by phase, blunders/mistakes/inaccuracies, the engine's top five moves. PGN import and export.
Hearts · Spades · Gin Rummy
Points lost per hand and a best-play percentage. The engine replays many possible deals to judge each pass, bid and card — fair in a game of hidden cards.
Know your level. Then raise it.
Analysis only matters if it changes the next game. Everything here is built into a simple loop that turns mistakes into progress.
Play
A quick game, a tournament round, or a league match.
Review
Accuracy and your costliest decisions, explained.
Practise
Your own mistakes come back as positions to solve.
Climb
Watch accuracy and rating trend upwards over time.
How your results stack up
A Glicko-2 rating per game, measured against computer opponents with fixed, calibrated strengths — so the number means the same next month as it does today.
How well you actually decided
The engine judges each of your choices against its best one. It filters out the luck of the deal, so it settles much faster — a bad hand played well still scores well.
Practise your mistakes
In Backgammon, every analysed error of 0.04 or more becomes a practice position. Solve them until the right move feels obvious.
Trends, not just single games
Your game history charts accuracy over time, filtered by game kind — because a +14 handicap game and a +3 one aren’t comparable.
Always a next step
Opponent levels from Easy to Master — and in the card games, engine levels Pro, Elite, Champion and Master above Hard. Each Spades engine level beats the one below about two games in three.
Learn the rules in place
Every card game has a “How to Play” page, one tap from the menu and the table.

Seasons, tournaments and a ladder to climb
Every game has a career. Play your way up through leagues, Swiss tournaments and finals against named computer opponents — all offline, all at your own pace.
In Handicap Chess you play a full-strength engine — but it gives you a handicap. Each league is a handicap in points; the pieces are drawn at random each season, so every bot feels different. Win your season, move up, and earn smaller handicaps until you meet the engine near even. Standard or Chess960, at 2+2, 3+2, 5+3, 10+5 or 15+10.

Seasons and promotion
Round-robin seasons of 6–8 players — you meet every bot and every handicap. Finish high to move up a league.
Swiss tournaments
26 players from the leagues of your choice. Blitz 5+3 over seven rounds, or classic 15+10 over five rounds and a top-4 final.
A rating per time control
League and tournament games feed a rating for each time control, shown as a trend — so you can feel your blitz and your classical improve separately.
| Game | Career | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Handicap Chess | Handicap League · Swiss tournament | Leagues 20 → 1 by handicap points; seasons per time control, Standard and Chess960 |
| Backgammon | Career tournaments | Swiss rounds, then a playoff; first-to-N matches with the doubling cube |
| Ludo | Ludo Career | 32 players, four qualifying stages and a final of four — then the next tournament |
| Hearts | Tournament | 32 players at four-player tables, qualifying rounds, then a final |
| Spades | Tournament | Swiss rounds with a fixed computer partner, then a top-4 playoff |
| Gin Rummy | Tournament | Swiss rounds, then a top-4 playoff |
